A Letter from the Mrs. Ketchum

Dear Detective Goodenough,

 I am writing to inform you that my chocolate cake has been stolen.
It was cooling on the windowsill. Three layers. Raspberry filling. Chocolate frosting. By all accounts, it was perfect.

A cockroach took it. I saw him with my own eyes. He was in the act.

 I have captured him and placed him in a jar in my kitchen.

Please come quickly. He must be arrested before he escapes.

In Dumbfounded,  every citizen believes their own nonsense. Play as Detective Goodenough, an intern who couldn't solve a one-man case, and try to figure out who stole the cake.
